    At most of the time, the power bank is used when we go out. So the small volum, portable, easy carry are some of the important considerations.

    2. Battery core in the power bank

    There are two types of battery cores in the power bank market: lithium polymer battery and 18650 lithium battery.

    The lithium polymer battery is packed with aluminum-plastic, because the shape of it can be customized and the lighter weight, it is always used in high-end electronics, such as the ultrathin power bank ,cell phone battery, camera battery ect. The safety performance is better, and the storage capacity is larger than the lithium battery, but the price is higher too.

    The 18650 battery core is cylindroid.18650 means that the diameter is 18mm, and the length is 65mm. There are four kinds of standard capacity in the market, 2200mAh, 2400mAh, 2600mAh, 2800mAh. Because of the fixed shape, the power bank with 18650 lithium battery is more thick. Nowadays, the technology of lithium battery has become mature, so the safety performance is good too.

    3. The capacity of the power bank

    For the smart phone, the 5000mAh capacity is enough. And it worth to note that the larger capacity means the higher standard requirments for the producer. So, if you find a high capacity power bank offered at a lower price, you should think more.

    4. The voltage of the power bank

    The devices with input voltage of 5V, 1A: ipad, iphone, ipod, smart phone, Mp3, Mp4, PSP, digital camera, GPS ect.

    The devices with input voltage of 8-12V: tablet computer, video camera, SLR camera ect.

    The devices with input voltage of 12-24V: laptop computer.

    5. The intelligent protection of the power bank

    The power bank should has the automatic recognition system for the charged device. And short circuit protection, over charge protection, over temperature protection, over discharge protection are necessary for a power bank.
