The Kitchen Is The Most Important Part of The House

As we all know, the kitchen is the most important part of the house, it's a place to eat. And do you know why is it so important? Here a some reasons.

1.It's the heart of the home

It's where your day begins and ends. It's where you hang out. It's where the food is cooked. There will never be a day in your life when you won't have a reason to enter the kitchen. In fact, some of you don't even need a reason. You find yourself drawn to it. Think of the number of times you just go to the kitchen to open the refrigerator and close it right back, without touching anything inside. With all of that happening in one place, do you think calling the kitchen the heart of your home is an overstatement?

    2.It's where the food is

Need we say more! It's the place where magic happens. Groceries go in but what comes out? Delicious pizzas and finger licking butter chicken. This in itself is reason enough for the kitchen to be the most important part of the house. The kitchen is where you go to when you don't want to compromise on the health of your family by ordering in. Food is essential to our survival – so I wouldn't be exaggerating if I called the kitchen the First Room of the house.

    3.It's Where Families Bond

Have you seen how the design of the kitchen has evolved over the years? From being a space behind closed doors, it has come to being an open kitchen; a communal space. This layout helps families spend more quality time together. It lets you keep an eye on your daughter while you cook. It lets your spouse perch herself on the counter and regale you with tales from her office. Your mother can now read her morning newspaper at the breakfast counter while you fix her a cup of tea. Kitchens allow you to feel the proximity of one another. The Kitchen Is The Most Important Part of The House

    4.It's the New Living Room

It's where the entertaining happens. When people meet, two things happen – food and conversations. And your kitchen allows you to do both in just one place. You no longer slave alone in the kitchen to prepare a three course meal before your friends arrive. Instead, your friends just waltz into your kitchen, share a bottle of wine with you and help you whip up your most exotic recipes. There is no such thing as ‘too many cooks' in a modern kitchen.

5.It's Where Children first learn to help

Children are empathetic little creatures. They don't like to see Mommy burnt out after a hard day at work. They understand that it is more important to help mum do the dishes in the kitchen than save the world by wearing a Superman's cape. The older siblings even lend a hand with the cooking and setting up the table for dinner. The kitchen is where the children first learn to be of some service.

6.It is Where You Hone Your Skill

Almost everybody likes to try their hand at cooking – men and women alike. Wearing the hat of a chef is a matter of pride. Most of you can feed the stomach but only those who hone their culinary skills end up satiating the heart. Your kitchen then becomes your laboratory, your workstation – where you practice and perfect the art of cooking. To your child, you are the best cook in the world. But would you mind Gordon Ramsay saying it too?
