    The Classification of General Merchandise

    In life, we often hear some people talk about general merchandise, but do you know what general merchandise include? How to classify general merchandise? Actually, general merchandise refers to a wide array of products commonly sold in retail stores. The simplest explanation of general merchandise is that it includes any non-food or non-grocery products. general merchandise, including cosmetics, stationery, tableware…… but does not include food. The classification of general merchandise and what general merchandise include are as follows:

    1.Cultural and sports supplies and equipment: stationery, sporting goods, sports equipment, jewelry, crafts, stamp collecting and other cultural products(photographic equipment, photographic equipment, instruments, toys).

    2.Minerals, building materials and chemical products: construction materials, minerals, mineral products, lubricating oil, metal materials, chemical products (excluding a class of precursor chemicals and dangerous goods), chemical fertilizer, agricultural film.

    4.Textile, clothing and commodity: knitwear and raw materials, kitchen equipment, kitchen is provided, cookware, kitchenware, tableware, department stores, clothing, shoes and hats, textiles, sanitary ware, groceries, cosmetics and toiletries, other general merchandise(clocks and watches, glasses, bags, lamps and lanterns).

    5. Other: medical equipment (only first grade medical instrument), funeral supplies, furniture, decoration materials, flowers, garage, labor insurance supplies, rubber products, plastic products, flowers, birds, insects, fish (excluding national important wild life).
